What are Microorganisms?
Microorganisms are microscopic organisms which means that they are organisms (living things that have cells, can eat, reproduce, move that can not be seen with the naked eye. Microorganisms are everywhere around you and in you. Some examples are Bacteria (Eubacteria and Archaebacteria),Fungi, Protists, and Viruses.
Bacteria
I'm going to explain the behaviors and good and bad of Eubacteria and Archaebacteria. First I'm going to explain Eubacteria. This one is everywhere you look; probably even on this screen. They are a single celled organism with no nucleus. They have three basic shapes which are spherical, spirals, and rods. They die when they touch oxygen, and they live in the Antarctic and swamps. The good are decomposers. Decomposers eat off living things. Archaebacteria lives in the most extreme and thermal environments. It also lives in point and gasoline. It is a single cell organism and no nucleus.
fungi
I'm going to explain the main three types of fungi, stuff about the three, and how they reproduce. The first type I'm going to talk about is yiest. Yiest looks small like pebbles and not Fruity Pebbles, the cereal. They are also used to make bread. The second one is mushrooms.
Mushrooms are poisonous but a few are not. The most poisonous is the Death Cap. They are poisonous because they live on and decompose dead organisms. The last one is mold. Mold grows on rotten or dead organisms. I think in every way it is gross but interesting. Last I'm going to tell you how fungi reproduce. Most fungi use spores. Others split and clone. Spores are kind of like seeds. They can for instance,a mushroom, won't grow for thousands of years.
